Beware of the Fog
A foggy night in Georgia is very pleasant in February. Masses of air collide and we stand at fifty-seven degrees of Farenheit, dew point, which puts the humidity at ... one hundred percent!!! Now I'm able to look up through the cloud tops that rush to the east and can see stars and the waxing gibbous. Little by little the new cycle turns over and collects momentum. I feel like a child, standing in the sun for the first time. Not really, I think that's from Roxanne. I seem to have written myself into a corner here where I don't know what I'm doing so I'm looking for new winds to sweep me out of the doldrums. One of my Youtube offerings has generated some funny comments. I was somewhere near El Paso on my drive from L.A. to Atlanta last March and got sandwiched by big trucks on Interstate 10 while I was listening to Speed Racer music. The theme from the Mammoth Car started up so I grabbed the video camera and shot this: http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=RlQoorEmg5o
I posted it from a motel in Scaryville, Texas which amazed me how easily I could get it online so quickly. Anyway, I begin to miss the terrors of the highway and see myself chewing on some asphalt soon.
