The Crass Menagerie

This is my triumphant return to the lifestyle I've always furthered and forwarded in my heart, at least, so let's blast off. The first half of my life has been incredible and the second segment will include more splendors than any Ottoman Sultan could ever have wished for in his golden repose. Anyway, fasten your laughter belt cuz you're on a collision course with wackiness.

Send me your tired...

Well, it took longer than it should have but she's finished. I look forward to working on something else now and I'll find out which path I'm gonna follow next. Sorry for the delay and I'll have a new post in a day or two, tops!

Weather Report Sweet

It's a bit early for Halloween but the weather feels right. A heavy rain blew in from the east this morning, very unusual. If I hadn't been up watching the British Open then my car would've filled with water cuz I'd left the window down overnight. Anyway, the highs for the next few days are supposed to be in the low 80's to high 70's. For July, that's amazing. Sorry that I don't have much more than a glorified weather report but it's actually pretty weird.
Meanwhile, the last sands of this era are waiting for their turn to funnel into destiny. One way or another I'll be reintroduced to society and I feel the opportunity to press advantages must be explored. Hmm, that's a little vague. But perfect for my purposes. This is more serious than when Richie Cunningham was thinking about running away with the beatniks on Happy Days. He wouldn't have lasted two days. Diddy tells the owner of Burger King that he's "hongry". People have to give their money to someone, I guess.

Two Coats

To all ships at sea, save the dinosaur and buy Sinclair gas whenever possible. Don't let classic brands fade away, help out the little guy.
Sorry for the gap but I've been busy with this gargantuan painting and I think I'll use bigger brushes next time. Anyway, this is the greatest July I can ever remember in Atlanta. Last night I saw the spiral light of Venus from the northwest corner of the brand new crescent moon and you know the crickets are singing away. I think that was an awfully good sign. I'll be sure to observe something that's more interesting next time around so check back in a day or two. Peace and may all your indiscretions be private.

Force of July

Indeed, an element of danger filled the air. I cannot tell you for sure if everyone left with all of their digits. I just can't. Some of mine swelled. We'll leave it at that. Our country is 231 years old. That's not a lot of time to take over the world. But we did it, by God. So far, July is an impostor with mild, cloudy days and just a rumour of moisture. Quite decent. The future is blank and possibly pleasant.

I've been working on April for a lot of days in a row and today I have to let her be. I was considering Madame XXX for a title. That's probably been done, though. Clearly the future is without shape and form. Or is it? John Travolta should be seen much less and if he were to fly into the Bermuda Triangle, well, I'm thinking of a fairy-tale ending.
Surprised by summer's gentle kiss
Smoking to the song of southern night
Remembering her, I can't resist
A chance to place her within my sight

kiss of twilight

July begins and the first day brought only mild steam. A fat moon has been lingering for several days, like in the Wolfman movies when he changes every night, even though I figure that he would only have to deal with transforming once a month. Maybe werewolf trouble is like feminine trouble. I'm sure gypsies are involved, either way. Since the end of the school year, the streets go quiet in the afternoon and I'm reminded of my own summer vacations and the wonderful, lazy, days with nothing to do. Just Tom Sawyer stuff inter cut with cartoons and monster movies.

So far the afternoon storms mostly rumble by and treat our area like a delta, albeit a dry counterpart. I fear we've sacrificed too many trees and can't compromise our personal gasses. If that's true, we'll be Houston in a few years, and that's an ugly thought.
Ease in to July
Like a walk in a picture
Any style you like

Slowly but surely, April is coming along here. Got some big decisions on the background to make. WWJSSD? That's what would John Singer Sargent do? But I'm thinking with a nod to Manet as well. Who will win?!? Tune in later to see! I had a better picture of the picture but I like the Joker peeking in on the left, there. Hyuk.
